De for-rest

Saturday with no plan out, I normally get up a bit late and put on a casual wear like fisherman-pants. Then I will walk to the market in my neighbourhood for an iced coffee from a coffee stand.

This Saturday was a bit different. Recently it happens to be a chic small complex "De for-rest" not too far from my house, so I decided to grab a coffee from there. As it's just opened, the promotion of the month will be "Buy 1, Get 1 free", which is a very good deal. At first I will not take the free item coz I can't have 2 drink at once, but the staff offered me for a take home, which is really good idea and very generous.

While I was waiting for my treats, I ran into 2 friends from high school. I joined one of the friend at her table and leaved another with her boy. We kept quiet and decided not to disturb her date. After a short conversation, I said good bye to my friend and took a cab home, thinking that why do I always run into someone when I'm in half pajamas?!?!

Kuny the Monchchichi

Two weeks ago, I had my hair cut very short. When I went to work on the next day, one of my my colleague said I look like the Monchchichi. What a co-incident, I have a little Monchchichi on my desk at work.

Monchchichi is a cute Japanese monkey animaiton. Though, it is not popular in Thailand, you can find them almost everywhere in Japan. If you want to know more of Monchchichi please click here for more detail ka.

By the way, I was asked from lots of people where I had may hair done. For these 2 styles, K. Bow from Saisuda did the perfect cut for me. K. Bow is very nice and easy to talk to. If you want to have your hair cut next time. I would recommend this salon to you ka. I met Captain (Poothanet) here, too. He came for a hair spa la'. He looks really cute. (=^U^=)

At last but not least, I should give you the address:

I am Tagged (1)

As I was tagged by Aom and Kate, I guess... I gotta write 5x2 things about myself which most people do not know about. Ok, let me try the first five ...

1. I hardly wear skirt since I was younger. When I went through my picture albums, there are only a few pictures of me wearing skirt. I think one of the reasons was that my dad liked me to be in active looks more than being very girlish.

"Outing with dad"

"Family trip"

"Being naughty. Look at my mom's face."

"Sporty day"

"Thai dance in hotpants. Behind me are my grandma and Ta, my cousin"

2. I look a lot like dad, but people don't have a chance to see him much, so many of them think that I look like my mom.

3. I love MINI and I used to have one. I named him "Piak Lek (เปี๊ยกเล็ก)", which means very small. Unfortunately, Piak Lek was not in a good condition so I had to sell it. I cried when I had to say good bye to him. It was sad.

4. February 2005, my first notebook was stolen from my car. A thief came into my house. Broke my car's window and took it away from me forever. Well, I was stupid, putting my notebook on the back seat, not the trunk. One lucky thing was that my Japanese friend's clothes which had been placed together with it, were not taken. Otherwise, my friend would be the one in trouble having no clothes to put on while his stay in Bangkok.

5. I always change a job. The shortest job was as a nursery teacher at a Japanese nursery. The place was behind the Emporium Departmentstore. I worked there for only a month. I had a great time with all the kids, though.

Aom ja, how is my homework?

I am Tagged (2)

Hello, sorry for keep you waiting for a while, and here is the last part of Tagged. I've been a bit busy lately taking care of my grandma as the girl who takes care of her is visiting her hometown during this week. Well, let me try my 5 more things.

1. May I introduce my Canadian mom and dad, the Jacobs. They live in Ontario, Canada. I first met them since 1994 in Montreal. Let me use my calculator... Ooh it has been 13 years already. I have also 2 Canadian sisters Sharlene and Colleen. I love them very much. I always visit them when I have a chance to. Mom is a very good cook. Her Shepherd pie is really good. I love my Canadian family very much. I will write about them more in the later time.

2. I'm a procrastinator. We call it in Thai "ผลัดวันประกันพรุ่ง";especially, for dieting things. My girl friend knows this very well. My common phrase is "Eat today and diet tomorrow"(but my tomorrow is not coming yet), or "Tomorrow is the January first, I'm going on diet", or "Tomorrow is Monday, I will start eating healthy" and I still 61 kilos of weight... 555

3. I'm not a morning person or I should say, my family members are not morning persons at all. I went to school late when I was a kid and I still go to work late, though my school and my office are in the neighbourhood. This is my bad habit, and I'm trying to do something with it but it is really really hard. It's easier for me to stay up late than to wake up early.

4. I play music instruments, but please do not expect to ask me out to the Karaoke. I'm out of the tune ;-P

5. At last but not least, I talk on the phone to my friend, Ja almost everyday. We've known each other since junior high. We are good friends since then.

Kate, I've finished my last part ja.

How was it???
