Saboten Diary

SA・BO・TEN is Japanese, means "cactus". Cactus is my favourite plant. I have few of them at home. Last year, my little cousin gave me one for my b-day but it hasn't bloomed since then, so 2 weeks ago he gave me another one as my advance b-day gift for this year. It's already has a bud.

Let's see how the journey of this little saboten was...

OH!!!! ... WOW!!! ... How gorgeous he is! He's blooming beautifully, nicely and perfectly. Isn't it amazing? It's the first time I have a cactus flower.

Meltie Moment @ iberry

My boom at the moment is an icecream at the iberry. Actually, most of the favours here are my favourite, but lately this is the one I always pick for myself and also for my friends. Let's go trough these hints, and figure it out.

1. It's made of fruit.
2. This kind of fruit comes in a bunch.
3. Its figure is round.
4. The colour is light yellow oak.
5. The taste is sweet and sour.
6. Your hands will easily get dirty by its gum, when you peel it.
7. It comes from the south where there is a big problem at the moment.
8. Eating this fruit will help the southern people who grew it.

Since last Friday, our contract team has been in a sad mode as our beloved boss, Minorikawa-san had been appointed a new position and moved back to Japan. He has been working at the BKK center for 2 years and a half. Actually, he was very glad to go home and of course we do understand... but still sad though (;_;)...

たまには日本語で書こうかな。８月１１日の朝ピー真紀とピー洋子がチベットからバンコクに戻ってきました。その晩ピー洋子は日本に帰る予定でした。日本に帰る１２時間ぐらいの間にやりたいことが一杯あります。さて、お昼からスタートしましょう。

มินิเคิล... หลายอาทิตย์ผ่านไป

แง!!! มินิเคิลหายไปหนึ่งเคิล เห็นเดินตามไจแอนท์เคิลไป สงสัยจะไปตามทางของลูกผู้ชาย คิดถึงจัง ส่วนสองเคิลที่เหลือก็เติบใหญ่และซุกซนขึ้นทุกวันๆ ช่างภาพเริ่มจับภาพไม่ได้แล้ว ใครมีเทคนิคถ่ายภาพแมวเคลื่อนไหวยงโย่-ยงหยกบ้างไหมคะ เมื่อวานเจ้าเคิลก็ไต่ขึ้นไปกินลมชมวิวบนต้นมะม่วงแล้วก็ติดแง่กลงมาไม่ได้ ร้อนถึงท่านแม่ของข้าพเจ้าต้องตะกายเก้าอี้ขึ้นไปช่วย วันนี้ข้าพเจ้ามีวีดีโอซนๆมาฝากคุณผู้อ่านทุกคนด้วยค่ะ ดูแล้วคิดถึงเมื่อตอนที่ยังมีสามเคิลพี่น้องมั่กมาก

มินิเคิล... หนึ่งอาทิตย์ผ่านไป

หนึ่งอาทิตย์... ผ่านไป... ไวเหมือนโกหก

เจ้าเหมียวมินิเคิลก็ยังคงเริงร่าท้าลมร้อน กินอิ่ม นอนหลับ อยู่ที่หลังบ้านของข้าพเจ้า

เจ้าเคิลทั้งหลายมีพัฒนาการเติบโตขึ้นบ้างแล้ว ข้าพเจ้าจึงคิดเปลี่ยนชามข้าวให้ใหม่ เพื่อที่เคิล เคิลจะได้ร่วมโต๊ะอาหารพร้อมๆกัน

แต่ดูท่าทางจะมีอยู่หนึ่งเคิลที่ไม่เคยตามพี่ๆน้องๆเขาทันเล๊ย

ส่วนอีกเคิลหนึ่งก็หลับหูหลับตากินจนอิ่มถึงจะเริ่มรู้สึกตัวกลัวชามใบใหม่ว่ามันมีตาง่ะ จ๊ากก...

เอาล่ะวันนี้ข้าพเจ้าก็ขอลาไปก่อน

ความเดิมตอนที่แล้ว (เมื่อหลายเดือนมากแล้ว) มีครอบครัวแมวเหมียวมาทำคลอด และพักอาศัยที่บ้านของข้าพเจ้าอยู่ระยะหนึ่ง ชื่อที่พวกเค้าได้ไปในคราวนั้นคือ แจ็คแจ็ค แจ็คแม่หอบลูกน้อยหนีจากไปเพราะข้าพเจ้าจับมันเช็ดตัว (ประกาศิตท่านแม่) ..... ย้อนกลับมาวันนี้มีอีกหนึ่งครอบครัวมาร่วมชายคากับข้าพเจ้าอีกแล้ว แถมยังใช้สถานที่เดียวกับแจ็คแจ็คเป็นห้องก่อการกำเนิดเสียด้วย คาดเดาได้ว่าคงจะมีการแอบส่งซิกกันภายในวงการแมวเป็นแน่แท้ ชื่อที่ข้าพเจ้าได้ตั้งให้พวกเขาในคราวนี้คือ มินิเคิล หลายคนคงจะรู้จักชื่อนี้ดีจากหนังสือการ์ตูนไมเคิลแมวแก่แดดนั่นเอง ตามท้องเรื่องแล้วไมเคิลเป็นแมวชาย มีแฟนสาวชื่อป๊บโปะ ส่วนมินิเคิลนั้นก็เป็นลูกคนโตของทั้งสองไง แต่เนื่องจากข้าพเจ้าลงความแล้วว่าไม่ว่าแม่หรือลูก ตัวไหนตัวไหนก็หน้าตาละม้ายคล้ายคลึงกันไปหมดจึงฟันธงให้ครอบครัวนี้ชื่อมินิเคิลโดยทั่วกัน หยุดสองวันนี้ข้าพเจ้าก็ได้แต่วิ่งไปแล้วก็วิ่งมาถ่ายแต่รูปเจ้าสี่ขาพวกนี้ได้หลายร้อยภาพ ถ่ายไว้ซะก่อนที่มันจะหอบผ้าหอบผ่อนหนีกันไปอีกครอบครัว ก็ท่านแม่ของข้าพเจ้าน่ะสิเจ้าคะเริ่มจัดระเบียบสังคมแมวอีกแล้วเจ้าค่าท่านผู้ช๊ม

Single Arts Gals Night Out

Last Saturday, my girl friends and I went out for Yakiniku at Yuu Restaurant, J Avenue. We ate unexpectedly very fast. The dinner was finished within only 50 minutes. Then we started to walk around and took pictures. We did some shopping or a lot of shopping would be more correct. At last but not least, we've never missed something sweet.

Nong drove us to "I-dress" boutique. There are plenty of cute items there. The shop is located on Sukhumvit Soi 49 near "Kanom", opposite Samitivej Hospital. It's in an apartment where you can park your car.

Sweets time after shopping at "Mousse & Berry" at J Avenue. the shop is the combination of "Mousse & Meringues" cake shop and "I-Berry" ice cream shop. We had Orange cake and White Chocolate Cheese Cake. For ice-cream, they were Pumpkin & Almond, Paradise Tea, Gooseberry, Italian Coffee, Banana Cheese. Our favourite were Pumpkin & Almond, and Gooseberry.

Shuu-chan, My Cute Little Boy Friend

During last 2 weeks, I had my Japanese friend "Mayuko" and her family visitting Bangkok. We had a chance to join "Loy Kratong Festival" in Sukhothai Province together, which we had a great time. Mayuko has a 3 year old boy. We call him Shuu-chan. He has a red chubby cheeks, especially when he gets warm. People will point at him and say "Look at that boy. He is so cute. How come his cheeks are so red". Sometime they will ask Mayuko, whether it will be ok to take Shuu-chan's picture. Trains and cars are Shuuu-chan's favourites. At the platform of BTS, he would waves until the train left the form and acts like a staff. BTS staff always wave back to him. It will be a big while until I can see him again. It's kind of excited to see how much he grows up. May be next time he would probably say to me "Your Japanese sounds strange!".

Jack Jack

JACK JACK was my temporary pet. SHE came to our house with tiny excitement. One fine morning, we surprisingly found her with petite babies in our storage. They used my computer box as their small house. Jack Jack first did not trust us until I started giving her food and drink. A few days later she became familiar with us and began begging for more food.

Jack Jack is a funny cat. She eats only a brand of cat food. I bought her another brand with the slogan " 80% of cats love ..." but Jack Jack is the rest of 20%. We've fed her for about 1 week until we can touch her. Then my mom got worried about her hygiene so we went to a pet shop and came back with wet towel for cat.

I cleaned her right after the shopping and later right that night Jack Jack ran away with her babies, leaving the box empty (:_:)... I was sad for a few moments ... and she came back.

This time Jack Jack came alone. I thought she came with the main reason "FOOD" but I was wrong. I finally figured out that Jack Jack came for attention. She would not eat unless I put food in my hand and hand to her mouth. She would non-stop "MEOW MEOW" until I gave her massage. She sometimes brought her boyfriend together. I named him Michael. I don't have any picture of him but he is a big fat guy.

Jack Jack came twice a day. Jack Jack came once a day. Jack Jack came a day after. Jack Jack finally does not come. I don't see her lately but Michael visits us once in a while. The reason might be myself as there was some period I came home late everyday. It was sad . I've learned that you gotta have time, if you want to have pet.

"We will miss you, JACK JACK"

***JACK came from a doggy's name in the movie "The Lake House". I found JACK JACK the day after I've seen this movie. There were many of them in the box. That was why I named them JACK JACK.***

I love Friday.

I love Friday for many reasons, but the recent one is that I have time to update my blog, which I've just started to create mine seriously last Tuesday. It took me until 3.3o next morning to get things work. One of my friend, who is now living with the love of her life in the States, has a blog and we always get in touch through hers. I've been thinking for a long time that I should create one and here it is. Actually this is not the first one I made. The first one is http://kun-li-ko.blogspot.com/ with the title of "When I was not at HOME...", which will be mostly about my trips. Then I decided to create another blog for "ETC." in my every day life other than travelling. I'm using mostly English here because it's the language that friends from every countries will understand.
